Storyline:
STORY: Set in the 80s, a troupe of artists led by singers, Gulli and Sohni from a rustic Punjab town are given land the opportunity to perform in the UK. There they stumble upon a lottery ticket that shows them dreams to get rich quicker than their talent of singing. In a comic sequence of events, the ticket is lost, forcing the group to fall back on their skill of being musicians to fulfil their families’ aspirations.
REVIEW: Gulli, played by Gippy Grewal, is a simple singer in his small town and is joined by instrument artists who make a living through street performances. Gippy carries the film on his firm shoulders with a profound performance that shows how the actor has matured to a level where he plays simple folks without coming across a clown.
